Ailin Jalili (she/her)
At Fusion Psychological Services, Ailin builds connections with local community organizations, including those who support newcomers and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Additionally, she helps create psycho-educational materials for workshops and group therapy sessions.
In addition to her work at Fusion, Ailin is involved with community initiatives surrounding knowledge mobilization, with a particular focus on the mental health and wellbeing of women and gender diverse individuals. Ailin is also involved in research at the University of Waterloo examining the healthcare utilization patterns of immigrant youth, and its effect on their wellbeing. Her research interests include emotional dysregulation, preventative interventions for families affected by institutional violence, and gender-specific presentations of psychological disorders.
Ailin completed her B.A. in Health Studies and MSc in Public Health Sciences from the University of Waterloo, with the goal of pursuing doctoral training in Clinical Psychology.
